Abstract
PT. SARI BUMI SIDAYU is a company that engaged in agriculture. It produces Doomite and Phospate fertilizers. By the time, the company which was established in 1982 has experienced rapid development by producing other products such as calcium carbonate, limestone and NPK fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to (1) know the compensation, work environment and employee’s performance at PT. Sari Bumi Sidayu, (2) analyze the effect of compensation and the work environment on the employee’s performance of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu partially, (3) analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on the employee’s performance of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu simultaneously. The population and sample in this study were 60 employees of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu. The analysis technique that used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the compensation that received by employees of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu is included in the high category, the work environment at PT Sari Bumi Sidayu is well implemented and the performance of employees at PT Sari Bumi Sidayu is also classified in the high category, (2) the compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect partially on the employees’ performance of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu, (3) the compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the employee’s performance of PT Sari Bumi Sidayu.
