Abstract

The quality of human resources also plays an important role in performance. Quoted by MediaIndonesia.com, the situation of human resources in Indonesia is still a serious concern, especially regarding the low level of education. Lack of adequate education can make it difficult for labor or employees to compete in the job market, so that it can reduce the level of performance in employees and can also have a negative impact on the overall performance of the company. Employees with a good level of psychological well-being will also increase their performance level. The purpose of this study is to know of the psychological well being effect on employee performance. The study employed a corelational quantitative approach with a study participants of as many as 182 employees. The measurement used is Ryff’s Scale of Psychological Well-being (RPWB) dan Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ). Sampling techniques use proprietary techniques and data analysis methods using simple linear regression tests to determine the influence of both variables. The study suggests that psychological well being has a significant effect on the performance of employees with an F = 46.723 P = 0.001 (P < 0.05) and the medical results of the study by 0,206 indicate that psychological well being has a 20,6% effect on employee performance.
