TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB ANAK BERKONFLIK DENGAN HUKUM (STUDI DI UPPA DITRESKRIMUM KEPOLISIAN DAERAH JAWA BARAT)

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause children in conflict with the law in West Java Province in terms of criminology, as well as tongind out the efforts to handle children in conflict with the law in the Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Polda Jawa Barat. This research uses empirical juridical research and approach. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used in this research is through interviews with West Java Regional Police. The result of this study explain that there are several factors that cause children in conflict with the law in West Java Province, namely wrong parenting and lack of understanding of the law, These factors can be related to several existing theories in criminolgy, namely social control theory and anomie theory. There are two efforts made by investigators in tackling children in conflict with the law, namely preventive efforts and repressive efforts.
