Abstract

Increasing efficiency and user experience must be a top priority for
businesses in the era of advances in computer and internet technology. Queuing
engines like END QUE offer many benefits, including reducing wait times,
increasing customer satisfaction, and optimizing workflow. However, even though
it has many benefits, consumer demand for the END QUE queuing machine at CV
Nakula Sadewa has decreased. This decline in buyer interest was caused by the
less attractive appearance and function of the company's website, which is the
main gateway to sales. Haeuristic evaluation is used to improve user interface
design and improve the performance of queuing machine sales websites. The aim
of this research is to provide suggestions for companies to improve display
problems on company websites, so that they can attract buyers' interest and
increase sales of queuing machines. Research was conducted on the CV website.
Nakula Sadewa uses the haeuristic evaluation method, which was created by
Jakob Nielsen based on ten heuristic principles. Following this research,
questions were created for each component, which were then divided into
subcomponents. Of the 43 questions created from ten heuristic aspects, these
questions were sent to five evaluators to convey their intensity. In addition, the
layout that was considered less structured by the evaluator was improved, a new
WhatsApp feature was added to make it easier for customers to communicate with
the company, and a location feature was added to the website to help customers
inside and outside the city find the location of CV Nakula Sadewa. The evaluation
results show a high usability level of 2.74 which is rounded to 3. This value shows
the main usability problem, requiring system improvements because it affects
operational processes and user comfort.
