Abstract
Vocational school students are a group of teenagers who tend to like social media, this happens because of the fear of missing out on precious moments by their peers on social media and this is what makes vocational school students fear of missing out (FoMO). extraverted personality is predicted to play a role in the level of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). The aim of this research is to find out the influence of extraverted personality on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in vocational school students. This research is a quantitative research using a simple random sampling technique and obtained subjects as many as 291 students of SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Grogot. The instrument used in this research was the Big Five Inventory (BFI) using only extraversion items and ON-FoMO. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test method. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between extraversion personality and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in vocational school students (t = 2.235).
