Abstract

Cases of sleep disorders are one of the themes that has been widely observed in this decade, especially incidents that occur in students. The prevalence of sleep disorders, especially insomnia in teenagers in Indonesia, reaches 38%. The behavior in which sleep disorders occur is still a matter of debate, because there is no research that explains the exact causes of sleep disorders in students, especially. The aim of this research is to identify student behavior that influences sleep habits. This research uses qualitative research. In this research, the author wants to provide a description of what habits students do so that they experience insomnia. Based on the results of interviews with Participants P1, P2 and P3, it can be seen that the participants experienced insomnia caused by their habits such as consuming coffee, stress and anxiety due to exams, and often playing on social media before going to bed. a holistic approach that takes into account both aspects of physical health and psychological well-being, as well as the social environment and consumption patterns, is needed for a better understanding and effective treatment of this sleep disorder.
