Abstract

In the era of rapid development of information technology, e-commerce applications have become the main solution in providing shopping convenience. Gundam is a television series or film in the robot genre featuring giant robots, created by Hajime Yatake and Yoshiyuki Tomino. The current problem is that there is no e-commerce application specifically aimed at selling Gundam products in Indonesia. In addition, currently available e-commerce applications still do not fully meet specific user needs. Therefore, this research aims to design a Gundam shop application using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The result of this research is a design in prototype form which is tested online using the Maze application to analyze the problems and difficulties faced by users while they interact with the application. Based on the online test results, a score of 89 was obtained. The results of this test score are included in the very good category. The hope is that the results of this research can serve as a guide for developers in creating applications that not only function well, but are also able to improve the user experience.
