PENERAPAN FATWA MAJELIS ULAMA INDONESIA TENTANG TAKLIK TALAK MENURUT PEJABAT KANTOR URUSAN AGAMA DI MALANG RAYA

This research aims to describe, understand, and analyze the views of the community in KUA Malang regarding the MUI Fatwa on taklik talak. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with primary data obtained through interviews with KUA officials in Malang Raya. The findings indicate that the MUI Fatwa categorizes taklik talak as a recommendation in the implementation of marriage, with the aim of protecting women and preventing damage within households. Although there is no formal obligation, the practice of taklik talak is still highly valued and often voluntarily adopted in marriages in the two KUAs. This research provides insights into the importance of the practice of taklik talak in the context of Islamic marriage, while also recognizing the individual freedom to choose whether to implement it or not.
