Being a student and memorizing the Koran is not easy, there are many obstacles and obstacles that must be faced, one of which is managing time. When does he have to complete assignments like other students, when does he have to memorize and repeat his memorization?
Deciding to memorize the Qur'an must be prepared with the consequences of allocating the greatest amount of time for the Qur'an, abandoning useless things, repeating memorization day and night, determining efficient memorization strategies, effective time management between long memorization and new. These things will be easier if they are conditioned, regulated and guided as in Islamic boarding schools.
There is quite a phenomenon of students memorizing the Qur'an in the world of lectures, in the past when they were at the boarding school their memorization was very strong, mutqin 30 Juz. Then when he left the cottage he entered college, all his memorization was lost without any trace. In the past, in the hut, we were protected from all doors of sin and immorality, had regular sleep times, murajaah was accompanied by musyrif, memorized amidst a supportive environment.
Meanwhile, when you leave the boarding school, you enter lectures, everything is completely independent, whether you memorize more or not, no one cares. Murajaah memorize as much as you like, there are no weekly, semester and monthly rote exams. On the other hand, there is an onslaught of temptations, both external and internal. Such as mixed exams of the opposite sex on campus, endless amounts of coursework, difficulty dividing time and other things.
Alhamdulillah, I have overcome all of this with Allah's permission and help, even though I had to stumble and stagger, synchronizing these two great mandates, memorizing the Qur'an is a mandate from Allah SWT from the sky, while studying is a mandate and hope of my parents. . This is the reason I chose this tahfidz scheme. Being busy at college does not become a scapegoat for forgetting to memorize the Qur'an.
