Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of people who cultivate the
crystal guava plant commodity in Bumiaji Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East
Java to improve their family's economy by collaborating with P4S Bumiaji
Sejahtera. The research aims to determine the partnership patterns and rights and
obligations carried out by Crystal Guava farmers with P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera. The
research location is in Bumiaji Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java. The
research was conducted in September 2023. This research used a qualitative
research approach. The type of data used in this research is primary data and
secondary data using qualitative methods. Qualitative research is an oral and
written method obtained directly from the informant Mr. Rakhmad Hardiyanto, S.T.
through interviews, observations, documentation, and implementation of Field
Work Practices (PKL) at P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera. The data sources used in this
research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is original data
obtained directly from the owner of P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera through in-depth
interviews, and secondary data is obtained from other sources such as magazines,
government publications and books. The results of this research show that the
partnership pattern implemented by P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera with partner guava
farmers follows the Agribusiness Operational Cooperation (KOA) pattern. P4S
Obligations: provide production facilities, namely grafted crystal guava seeds,
fertilizer, pesticides and pest control drugs, then P4S Rights: Receive all crystal
guava harvests as a whole from crystal guava partner farmers and determine the
selling price of crystal guava to be marketed to various traditional markets and
supermarket. Obligations of partner farmers: provide production facilities in the
form of land, labor and care for crystal guava plants. Rights of partner farmers:
Hand over all crystal guava harvests to P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera for grading, sorting,
and marketing processes and receive training and education regarding knowledge
of how to handle the maintenance process, harvesting crystal guava
