Abstract

Insufficient income compared to what is earned by online motorcycle taxi drivers and the increasing cost of living can decrease the well-being of online motorcycle taxi drivers. When this well being decreases, it will affect the emotional condition of online motorcycle taxi drivers. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of job satisfaction on subjective well-being in online motorcycle taxi drivers. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach and uses job satisfaction scales, PANAS scales, and SWLS scales which are then tested using simple regression analysis. The subjects in this study amounted to 200 online motorcycle taxi drivers with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there is a positive influence between job satisfaction and subjective well-being in online motorcycle taxi drivers (Sig = 0,000 < 0,05) with a percentage of 16.6%. Thus, it can be stated that the hypothesis in the study is accepted. Which means that the higher the job satisfaction experienced by online motorcycle taxi drivers, the higher the subjective well-being. This research is expected to be used as a reference for online motorcycle taxi drivers to be more aware of their subjective well-being in their daily lives.
