Abstract
Regulations regarding education in Indonesia are increasingly developing, one of which is that schools are allowed to participate in full day school activities (Full Day School). The existence of these regulations causes teachers to experience work stress. Teacher work stress can come from several factors, like fatigue, boredom, and self-confidence. Teachers are considered to be able to get out of one of the work stress factors by increasing their self-confidence in their competence. Self-Efficacy is needed to be able to survive in various new or future learning conditions. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and teacher work stress in the full-day school system, at SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Pandaan. This research method is quantitative correlational with a 39 teachers sample, using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for the self-efficacy variable is the General Self-Efficacy Scale which has been adapted by Sa'diyah and the work stress variable compiled by Indriyani. The research results showed that there was a positve relationship between self-efficacy and work stress (p < 0.01). Teachers who have high work stress are the result of high self-efficacy.
