Abstract
The rapid advancement of technology continues to grow worldwide, and the
education sector is no exception, experiencing the impact of this technological
progress. Referring to the initial findings obtained from a study conducted at
UPTD SDN 157 Gresik, it is revealed that they have adopted the use of
Information Technology Communication (ICT) Based Media in advanced reading
instruction. The research method employed is a qualitative descriptive study. In
its execution, data collection techniques encompass observation, interviews, and
documentation. Within this research, the applied data analysis techniques
comprise data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The
research findings indicate that the implementation of Information Technology
Communication (ICT) Based instructional media in advanced reading instruction
includes interactive learning applications, E-Books, instructional videos, online
learning platforms, and multimedia.
