Abstract
This research aims to find out, examine, and analyze the diversion of cases of violence committed by children at Malang City Police. The research method used in this research is sociological empirical research, namely conducting direct research at Malang City Police Station, to find out in detail related to the problems the author describes, the source of material used is primary sources, namely sources collected by the object by being obtained directly.

This research can be concluded that the process of implementing diversion of violence committed by children is carried out through deliberation by involving the victims and perpetrators together with their parents / guardians, also involving social welfare workers and the community. In the process of diversion of cases of violence committed by children at Malang City Police, there were several successful diversions and there were diversion efforts that reached an agreement with compensation and there were also diversion efforts that failed, on the grounds that the victim's family still wanted the perpetrator to be processed through justice. The diversion process also takes into account the interests of the victim by providing assistance to victims, as well as the rights of victims, namely providing direct and indirect protection including assistance from legal counsel and psychologically.
