Abstract

This study discusses Indonesia's interests in participating in the Malay Day Event as well as the steps of Indonesian Cultural Diplomacy through participation in Malay Day in Yala, South Thailand. The research method used is an analytical description method with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. And research data collection techniques through library research (library research). The results of this study found that Indonesia and Thailand are increasing because many products from Indonesia are entering the southern Thailand market, such as coffee, coconut, cooking spices, and so on. Apart from that, it makes it easier for companies that export goods from Indonesia, such as batik, sarongs, robes, and prayer tools, which are uniforms that are in demand by the people of Southern Thailand. and the Socio-cultural function of KRI Songkhla by attending various campuses and promoting it so that it gets the attention of Southern Thai millennials so that South Thai millennials who continue their studies in Indonesia at the high school level continue to study at university.
