Data collection techniques involve observing, interviewing and documenting several research subjects involved in strategies for handling HIV/AIDS in Batu City as well as studying literature related to handling HIV/AIDS. The Batu City Government has provided various strategies in handling HIV/AIDS, from several of these strategies there has been multisectoral coordination involving various actors ranging from government, the private sector, and the community with their respective roles. From this strategy, handling HIV/AIDS certainly has various impacts on the entire community, especially key populations. Multisectoral coordination occurs more frequently in promotive and preventive areas, such as in the Mobile VCT (Voluntary, Counseling and Testing) strategy and SK CATIN. The pattern considered to be the most effective in handling HIV/AIDS in Batu City is Mobile VCT (Voluntary, Counseling and Testing).
