Abstract

Smart Home is a technology that makes homes have an automation system with very sophisticated performance. This system utilizes multimedia technology to monitor home security and comfort systems and also controls household appliances installed in rooms and living rooms, activates some lighting equipment and many other functions. The Internet of Things can generally be defined as objects around us that can communicate with each other via the internet. The Internet of Things has the concept of expanding the benefits connected in a continuous internet connection. In this research, a voice-based smart home design is carried out in the form of hadware and application systems. The device works using the internet network. Using Goggle Assistant as a voice capture media, Nodemcu microcontroller as the center of the circuit, lights, air conditioners and TV smart home devices. This tool works when the user gives voice commands in the form of instructions to turn on and off the device. Then the device (AC, TV, Lights) through a cellphone that is connected to the internet will automatically react according to the voice command.
