Abstract

Movies often feature some violent scenes that happen as in the real world. Even these scenes are sometimes not covered or censored by certain parties because they aim to improve film ratings. Especially the quite a bit of bullying action was shown in some Korean films(!), which is a depiction of the dark fact of education in South Korea. The bullying measures themselves in South Korea are because the world of education is so competitive and physical that it is considered so important in Korea. One of them is the Korean drama film The Glroy. I was examined by researchers where it is a romantic drama genre film, school and mystery. This study has a purpose to find out I and discover how Bullying's representation in Korean Drama The Glory I is. The study used Roland Barthes' semiotics analysis with a qualitative descriptive approach to explain how bullying was portrayed in the Korean drama The Glory I. The result of this study was physical bullying, which was beatings, forced withdrawals, and carried out in groups. In addition, psychological bullying is in the form of insults and negative words and bad rumors carried out intentionally. However, the victim dared to fight the perpetrator because he felt that he was right but was always bullied.
