Abstract
The Building of the Dental Hospital at Brawijaya University is located at Jl.
Kedokteran Gigi, Ketawanggede, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, East Java.
The building consists of 8 floors with a top elevation of +32.10 meters. It serves
as a facility for oral dental hospital services under the Faculty of Dentistry at
Brawijaya University. The structural design employs a dual system or combined
system (SRPMK and shear wall). The building has 4 shear wall placement points,
2 with a length of 3.3 meters and the other 2 with a length of 8.4 meters. The use
of shear walls aims to maximize the structure's ability to withstand seismic forces.
The structural planning of the building involves the use of Response Spectrum
Analysis system, referring to the regulations SNI 1726:2019 for earthquake
resistance procedures for building structures, SNI 2847:2019 for structural
concrete requirements for buildings, and SNI 1727:2020 for minimum design
loads and criteria for buildings and other structures. The calculation process
utilizes the ETABS software to obtain force values in each structural component.
Based on the calculation results and structural analysis, specifications for the
dimensions of structural components are obtained. These include the floor and
roof slab thickness of 12 cm with Ø10 reinforcement bars. The longitudinal and
transverse dimensions of the secondary beams are 25/50 and 20/30, respectively,
using primary reinforcement bars with a diameter of D16 and Ø10 for shear
reinforcement. The primary beams have dimensions of 30/60 with primary
reinforcement bars of diameter D19, and Ø10 for shear reinforcement. The
column dimensions are 70/70 with primary reinforcement bars of diameter D25,
Ø10 for shear reinforcement, and Ø16 for confinement. Additionally, shear walls
with a thickness of 35 cm are used, reinforced with D16 bars in both longitudinal
and transverse directions, as well as D13 confinement reinforcement.
