Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the scope of community mobility from the national to international sectors. Indonesia-Singapore has a very close relationship of complementary interests between the two countries. The research method used is qualitative data analysis with literature study. The research results found that the travel bubble policy is a strategy between Indonesia and Singapore to strengthen Indonesia-Singapore relations and maintain community mobility during the Covid-19 rest period. What are Indonesia's strategic choices in achieving its interests in maintaining interaction with Singapore. Indonesia-Singapore travel bubble policy in Batam, Bintan, Karimun. Indonesia has vast territory, natural resources and human resources that Singapore does not have. Meanwhile, apart from these limitations, Singapore has capital such as knowledge, networking, financial resources, technological advancement and other skills needed by Indonesia. The travel bubble was implemented to facilitate mutually beneficial relations between the two countries so that Singapore's interaction remains mobile in the Batam, Bintan and Karimun areas. Indonesia-Singapore cooperation and Indonesia's interest in strengthening diplomatic relations with Singapore. Singapore is one of the countries with the largest amount of FDI, therefore there needs to be easy access between the two countries to continue economic activity during the rest-covid period. The travel bubble policy is a strategic choice made by the Indonesian government in collaboration with Singapore. Singapore is a partner in the travel bubble policy which will facilitate cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.
