Abstract
Problem: Interactions with students as users of AR applications for learning animal and plant anatomy show several problems, including the accuracy of information when using a camera, the desire for full control over the visualization of anatomical objects, and the expectation of clear and easy-to-understand explanations of information. Method: The research method used to solve this problem is by using UX Journey. In this research, we apply an in-depth and holistic UX Journey method to explore how users interact with applications. Through structured stages of analysis, it can structure the user journey and identify the factors that influence their experience. Results: As many as 80% of users felt that the hint information feature in the application made them feel easy and effective in identifying objects with the camera, finding the camera easily, enjoying interesting cell information, and understanding material explanations better, as well as moving animations freely with help instructions. Conclusion and Development: It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable guidance for application developers to improve application interfaces and functionality. The resulting recommendations are expected to improve user experience, minimize the risk of development errors, and ensure that this application can be more effective in supporting Augmented Reality-based learning in the future.
