Abstract
This road planning was carried out on the Podorejo-Tunggangri Highway section, Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung Regency. The Podorejo-Tunggangri road is an alternative road to get to the city and this road has been under construction for a long time so that the modes of transportation that pass through this road section have also increased. There is an increase in traffic volume on this road section from year to year, resulting in a decrease in the road's ability to accept the load on it. Therefore, there is a lot of damage to the road pavement. This planning aims to determine the damage that occurred using the PCI Method, as well as appropriate road handling methods using the 2017 Bina Marga and AASHTO 1993 Methods. The damage value on the Podorejo-Tunggangri Road using the PCI Method was obtained at 39,4%. From the planning results using the 2017 Bina Marga Method, it was found that the AC-WC layer thickness was 4 cm, the AC-BC layer thickness was 6 cm. And for the results of the 1993 AASTHO Method, a surface layer thickness of 16 cm was obtained with a Planned Budget (RAB) of Rp 9,314,566,628.85.
