Abstract
(Background) Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure is 140 mmHg and above and diastolic blood pressure is 90 mmHg. Hypertension does not give symptoms to sufferers, but in the long term it can cause complications. Therefore, hypertension is detected early by checking blood pressure periodically.
(Research Purposes) This study aims to determine the effect of the relationship between knowledge and satisfaction on adherence to the use of Kaptopril drugs in hypertensive patients at the Arjuno Health Center in Malang City.
(Methods) This research method is quantitative descriptive in hypertensive patients at the Arjuno Health Center in Malang City.
(Results and Conclusion) There is a significant relationship between knowledge of captopril treatment adherence, with a significance value of p = 0.040, there is a significant relationship between satisfaction with captopril treatment adherence, with a significance value of p = 0.017.
