Abstract
Employees certainly experience a perceived workload in the company. The mental workload felt by one employee by another will be different because it depends on each individual's perception of the organizational climate they feel. This study aims to determine the role of organizational climate influence on mental workload in nurse workers. This research uses a quantitative method approach. The process of distributing scales or questionnaires in this study was distributed via online and paper pencil to research subjects. The research subjects were obtained from as many as 159 nurse respondents at X Hospital with an accidental sampling technique. The scale used in this study on the organizational climate variable uses the LSOCQ scale, which is reliable and valid. While the mental workload variable uses the NASA-TLX scale, which is also reliable and valid, The hypothesis of this study was tested with simple linear regression analysis techniques. This study found that there was no influence between organizational climate and mental workload, but there was an influence on the aspects of responsibility, risk, and conflict on mental workload in subjects who had a heavy mental
workload. The implication of this research is that companies can focus on aspects that affect heavy mental workloads so that they can manage these three aspects and provide preventive measures.
