Abstract
Fever is a condition that is often encountered in everyday life. Fever (hyperthermia) is a condition where the body temperature is higher than usual, and is a symptom of an illness. To analyze the prescription of Paracetamol at the Singosari Public Health Center, Malang Regency with the ATC/DDD method. This study uses the ATC/DDD analysis method. Paracetamol drugs are identified using the ATC code, the ATC classification can be seen in the Paracetamol drug table, after obtaining the ATC code and standard DDD unit value. Then the calculation for DDD is carried out with the total number of prescriptions and the number of drugs prescribed in January to December 2020 at the Singosari Health Center, Malang Regency.
Results and Conclusions: The output DDD/1000 population/day for Paracetamol tablets is 1.94 g and for Paracetamol syrup is 0.21 g, so the DDD value of Paracetamol is 1.08g. The conclusion is population value of Paracetamol tablets and syrup is not widely used in society because the population value is less than the DDD value according by WHO so it can be concluded that Paracetamol is not widely used in society.
