Abstract
Stove is one of the equipment used for cooking. In general, the stove that is often used is a gas stove. In fact, there are several types of stoves that should be used to replace gas stoves, one of which is an induction stove. An induction cooker is an electric stove that works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. In general, induction cookers have a coil that functions as a magnetic field generator. In designing this stove, a coil is made using enameled wire and there is the use of a thermocouple sensor and Arduino Uno. The thermocouple will later function to read the temperature value when the stove is used. Then the temperature that is read will be processed on the microcontroller and then displayed on the LCD, and there are several buttons that become the control center on this stove. In addition, the use of this sensor will certainly make the stove safer when used because the stove will turn itself off when the temperature received by the sensor has a value greater than the predetermined temperature. With this it is hoped that the stove will be safer to use. Based on the test results, this stove has a power consumption of around 200 to 500 Watts, this stove is capable of producing quite good heat with an energy efficiency of 79%. The application of the thermocouple on this stove works well, the sensor can read the temperature and can then be processed and displayed on the available LCD.
