Abstract
The efforts of early adult individuals to build relationships with other individuals, whether romantic relationships or casual friendships, either with the opposite sex or the same sex, can be done on social media. The process of building relationships with other individuals requires interpersonal trust. This study aims to determine the high and low value of interpersonal trust in early adults. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive design, with accidental sampling technique, and uses the "Trust Relationship" instrument developed by Faturochman and Minza in 2014. The data analysis used in this study used IBM SPSS-23, with the results showing that the interpersonal trust value of early adult social media users is categorized as "high". This means that early adult individuals who use social media will give their interpersonal trust, if the individual has value. In addition, there is no difference in the interpersonal trust value of early adult individuals with existing characteristics (religion, gender).
