Abstract
Background: Acute myocardial infarct is one of the many cardiovascular diseases that is the main cause of death throughout the world. Based on data sourced from Riskesdas 2018, the prevalence of heart disease remained at 1.5% of the total population from 2013 - 2018. The main effort that must be taken immediately in acute myocardial infarction is to immediately restore blocked blood flow. One therapy that can restore blocked blood flow is antiplatelet. Antiplatelets are agents that reduce platelet aggregation and inhibit thrombus (clot) formation.
Objective: To determine the pattern of use of antiplatelet therapy in Acute Myocardial Infarct patients at Dr. Iskak Tulungagung.
Method: The data collection method was retrospective on the health medical record of acute myocardial infarct patients for the period January – June 2023. The research results obtained were analyzed descriptively in the form of tables and percentages.
Result and Conclusions : The results showed that the majority of patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarct were male, in the age range 60-69 years old, and chose BPJS as health insurance for their therapy. The conclusion obtained was that only two antiplatelet combinations were used in all 81 patients (100%). The combination pattern most often given is aspirin LD (1x320 mg) po followed by MD (1x80 mg) po, clopidogrel LD (1x300 mg) po followed by MD (1x75 mg) po.
