Abstract
This research aims to explore the implementation of the Cooperative Group Investigation Model which focuses on student activity and creativity in learning mathematics. This model emphasizes collaborative learning where students work together in groups to explore mathematical concepts. The research method used was classroom action research with 20 students as participants. Data was collected through observation, interviews and tests. The research results show that the implementation of the group investigation model is significantly in the good category for student activity in learning mathematics, by providing space for student creativity in solving mathematics problems, it is included in the good category and students are satisfied with the group investigation model. These findings provide insight for educational practitioners to enrich mathematics learning strategies by focusing on collaboration, student activity, and developing creativity in the learning process.
