Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of the Integrated Health Post Nutrition Program (POZTING) in addressing stunting in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java Province. The issue at hand pertains to stunting among infants and toddlers due to early developmental nutritional deficiencies, which can lead to decreased height and weight as well as cognitive abilities in children, potentially hindering their productivity in adulthood.
This study adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population comprises POZTING facilitators in Pandanrejo Village, with participants selected from among POZTING attendees in the village. Data is gathered through primary and secondary sources utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis employs the George Edward III policy analysis model pertaining to public policy.
Findings indicate that the POZTING program at the Pandanrejo Village Integrated Health Post plays a significant role in reducing stunting rates among infants and toddlers. By the end of the POZTING activities in 2023, a notable increase in height and weight among participating infants is recorded. Despite facing internal and external challenges, the POZTING program remains effective.
