Abstract
In 2021 there were 21,753 cases, then in 2022 it increased by 15.2% to 25,050 (Rizaty, 2023). The place where violence occurred was 58.1%. Violence against women occurred in the household. According to the Ministry of Women and Children Protection (Kemenppa), in 2023 the number of domestic violence will increase to 27,638, based on gender, the highest potential perpetrators of domestic violence are men with a percentage of 89.5% (Kemenppa, 2023). This research aims to determine the relationship between paternal attachment and the aggressive tendencies of married men. The method used for this research is quantitative with the Pearson correlation test and the sample collection technique in this research uses a probability sampling technique. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant relationship between father's attachment and the tendency for aggressive behavior in married men. Because of this, it can be proven by the data in this study that participants who have a strong father attachment will have a low tendency for aggressive behavior, whereas if the father's attachment is low, the tendency for aggressive behavior will be high.
