Abstract

Education has a very important contribution to everyday life. Education in the process helps humans to develop potential in developing various kinds of knowledge. The learning process will run if two-way communication between teachers and students is achieved. With learning media, communication will run well and students will understand the material. Based on interviews and observations conducted on December 12 2022 with the class IV homeroom teacher at Tunjungsekar 3 Elementary School, media is needed in learning activities to help students understand the material, especially science and science subjects. This research aims to develop interactive media for class IV at Tunjungsekar 3 Elementary School in Malang City.
YADURI Android-based interactive media includes development research that refers to the LEE and OWENS models which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. YADURI Android-based interactive media obtained material validity percentage results of 83.3% and media validity of 88.4%. These results state that the media meets the good category which can be used by students to make it easier to obtain the material being taught. Judging from the student response to interactive media, the percentage was 92.4% and meets the very good category where this media can help students and make students happy in learning.
In YADURI's Android-based interactive media development research, the suggestion for students is to utilize the media for the ongoing learning process, for teachers it can be used as a medium to become a bridge between teachers and students, for further researchers this media can be developed to provide more material coverage and make the media more interesting.
