Abstract
Many problems arise in companies, especially those involving aspects of human resources, such as sabotage, theft, personal aggression, and misuse of time and resources. This problem is included in Deviant Workplace Behavior (DWB). These various problems can be detrimental to both the company and the individuals within it. For companies, the losses are material, emotional, and social. Meanwhile, individuals with DWB can experience various mental health disorders, one of which is depression. Job satisfaction is one of the internal factors that can influence DWB. The research aims to see how job satisfaction influences deviant behavior in the workplace among workers. The sampling technique used was quota sampling with subject criteria (1) Private workers, and (2) Working for companies in the Malang Raya area. The number of respondents in this study is 271 subjects. Linear regression is used for hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on DWB, job satisfaction has no effect on DWB-I, and job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on DWB-O.
