Abstract
This research aims to find out about the Ministry of Social Affairs' strategy in efforts to accelerate poverty reduction through the Family Graduation Policy for Beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program. The aim of the Family Hope Program (PKH) graduation effort is to help PKH recipients become more independent. This is done due to the fact that PKH recipients will not always receive government assistance. Therefore, the aim is for them to be independent using the assistance they have received previously, so that they no longer need to depend on the government .
Type of research in this research uses descriptive qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. In this research, the data sources used are primary and secondary data, primary data was obtained from direct observations in the field and interviews with research subjects, namely the Directorate of Social Security, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, while the secondary data used involved laws, minutes of meetings, decision letters. PKH etc.
From the results of the research, it is known that there are four strategies of the Ministry of Social Affairs in efforts to accelerate poverty reduction through the Family Graduation Policy for Beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program, namely through seeking changes in the behavior and mindset of KPM through the P2K2 forum, Program Synergy and Program Complementarity, Monitoring the Socioeconomic Development of KPM PKH and Potential KPM Mapping, Accelerated Graduation Through Empowerment and PENA Intervention, the results of this strategy are then analyzed using George C. Edward III's implementation model which uses four variables that really determine the success of implementing a policy, which consists of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure.
