Abstract
Land disputes are civil disputes that occur between two parties who feel their property rights are violated by others, dispute resolution can be resolved through a mediation process, one of which is mediation settlement in the district court which requires a mediator as a mediator who can communicate with the parties to the dispute to realize a peace agreement at the end without a decision from a judge. The focus examined in this study is on How the Procedure for Implementing Mediation in the District Court in Dispute Case No.90 / Pdt.G / PN. Kpn, What are the Factors Supporting the Success of Mediation conducted in the District Court in Dispute Case No.90 / Pdt.G / PN.Kpn, and How is the Results of the Mediation in the District Court in Dispute Case No. 90 / Pdt.G / PN. Kpn.The research method used in this study is sociological juridical where this research was conducted by conducting direct observations and interviews with respondents related to the Implementation of Mediation in the Court in Mighty Dispute Number 90 / Pdt.G / 2023 / PN. Kpn.From the results of research conducted on mediation procedures in district courts, the provisions have been regulated in PERMA No. 1 of 2016 concerning mediation procedures in court, where there are three stages, namely the pre-mediation process, the mediation process, and the post-mediation process, besides that in the case under study the factors of the success of mediation in court there are also three factors, namely factors from law enforcement, in this case judges and mediators who Professionalism, factors of parties in good faith in the mediation process, and factors of adequate facilities/facilities in the implementation of mediation. And from the mediation results of the case ended in peace from the parties with the withdrawal of the lawsuit by the plaintiff.
