Abstract
ubjective well-being (SWB) is a multidimensional construct that should beassessed using at least two separate measurements. Meanwhile, despite of many researchrelated to SWB in Indonesia, many of them still used a single measurement of SWB. Thepurpose of this study is to assess the validity and reliability of the SWB measurement in highschool students. This study included 238 participants ranging in age from 15–18 years. SWBmeasurements included the students’life satisfaction scale (SLSS), brief multidimensionalstudents’life satisfaction scale (BMSLSS), positive affect negative affect scale (PANAS), andthe Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The results showed that all scales had Cronbach’sAlpha greater than 0.70. The results of exploratory factor analysis revealed that the model isa good fit and most of the items have adequate loading factors. As a result, the scale used inthis study has adequate validity and reliability
