Abstract
This study aims to analyze The aim of this research is to describe non-violent resistance movements as more likely to gain international support. nonviolent resistance is more likely to erode the support of the ruling regime. nonviolent resistance is more likely to lead to a negotiated settlement. Nonviolent resistance is a more effective and morally superior way to bring about social and political change. Nonviolent resistance is more likely to attract more supporters, including those who would not support a violent movement. Non-violent resistance is more likely to gain the sympathy of the international community. Nonviolent resistance is more likely to weaken the morale of the ruling regime and its supporters. Nonviolent resistance is more likely to lead to a negotiated settlement that is acceptable to both parties. Of course, nonviolent resistance is not always successful. There are many cases where non-violent movements were met with violence and repression. However, evidence suggests that nonviolent resistance is more likely to be successful than violence in bringing about the best social and political change for everyone involved.
