Abstract
Baground : Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases with abnormalities in insulin secretion that occur because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood sugar or glucose), or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces, causing glucose to not enter the cells. resulting in a buildup of glucose in the blood which is called hyperglycemia (Loscalzo J, 2019),
Metods : This research uses a case study research design involving 1 respondent. The sample inclusion criteria were patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type II. Data analysis by means of anamnesis, observation, problem prioritization, intervention, implementation and evaluation
Results: The results of the case analysis in patients showed 5 diagnoses, namely, unstable glucose levels, impaired skin integrity, acute pain, ineffective peripheral perfusion, impaired physical mobility. With the results of providing interventions in the form of deep breathing techniques combined with insulin therapy, wound care, nutritional management, Bed rest treatment showed that the pain scale decreased and showed changes in the characteristics of the wound and the patient's diet or diet became more regular.
Discussion: Diet management is very necessary to accelerate the process of reducing blood glucose levels and the patient's lifestyle so that it can have an impact on rapid wound healing. From the results of nursing analysis with deep breathing technique interventions combined with hypnosis, wound care, nutritional management, diet management can speed up the process of reducing glucose levels which results in rapid wound healing if these four interventions can be implemented correctly.
