Abstract
The location of this planning study on Jalan Lintas Selatan Balekambang - Kedungsalam is a collector road with a type 1 lane 2 lanes. The width of 11 m consisting of 7.5 m traffic lanes and right-left road shoulders of 1.75 m each in accordance with the road technical requirements for road sections in the primary road network system of the Minister of Public Works regulations in 2011. Road space requirements are needed in order to determine the size limits of each road section to match the planned road classification.
Flexural pavement planning using the 1987 Component Analysis method can be carried out by stages; Number of Lanes and Vehicle Distribution Coefficient (C), Vehicle Axis Load Equivalent Number (E), Equivalent Traffic, Soil Supportability (DDT), California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Regional Factor (FR), Surface Index (IP), Pavement Thickness Index (ITP), and Relative Strength Coefficient (a). The planning of additional layers with the 2017 Bina Marga Pavement Design Manual method is carried out by stages; calculating traffic volume (R), calculating traffic on the plan lane (DL) determining the load equivalent factor (VDF), calculating average daily traffic, determining the thickness of the added layer based on the ESA5 value. Of the two methods, the efficient method was chosen, namely using the 2017 Bina Marga Pavement Design Manual, then obtained a total cost budget plan of Rp. 89,891,166,447.39.
