Abstract
Work motivation that is interpreted positively will be an important factor for employees or organizations because work motivation will ultimately have an influence on organizational success. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in work motivation in terms of the burden of employees of the SKM department of PT X. The participants in this study were employees with a total of 100 people. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with One Way ANOVA difference test. The instruments in this study used data from PT X for workload variables and used the Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) for work motivation variables developed by Gagne et al. in 2015. The results showed that there were significant differences between the dimensions of work motivation in terms of workload. Based on the six dimensions of MWMS in terms of workload which include extrinsic regulation social, extrinsic regulation material, introjected regulation, identified regulation, intrinsic motivation there are significant differences except in the dimension of amotivation.
