This research originates from the phenomenon of communication activities of modern society that uses various communication methods and media. The transformation of communication technology gave rise to new means of communication such as online games. Virtual communication carried out in online gaming activities occurs smoothly thanks to the availability of internet networks. Mobile Legends online game is one of the MOBA (Mutiplayer Online Battle Arena) games played by millions of users around the world. The wide scale of the game is what gave birth to the online gaming community. This research raises the virtual communication behavior of female players in online games. The goal is to find out how Virtual Communication Behavior in the conflict of Virtual Communication activities of Female Mobile Legend Bang - bang players on the "Mabar Online" Channel.
This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The research used observation and interview methods with six female informants who are Mobile Legends game players on the "Mabar Online" Channel selected through Purposive sampling. The research data obtained came from observations, interviews, and literature studies. The theory used in the research is Gold and Kolb's communication behavior theory and the theory of basic concepts of virtual communication according to Werner J. Severin and James W. Tankard.
Based on the results of the study that Virtual Communication Behavior in conflict Virtual Communication activities of Female Mobile Legend Bang - bang players are verbal and nonverbal. Virtual communication behavior shows factors that cause gaps (conflicts) between members, conflicts occur due to the inability to position themselves in virtual communities as a medium of mutual interaction that has limitations. In this case, conflict resolution in effective virtual communication behavior can be achieved so that conflict can increase internal cohesiveness and a sense of belonging to a team in online games.
