Abstract
Background : Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disease caused by interference with theabsorption of blood sugar in the body. Diabetic pedi ulcers are usually found in patientswhohaveperipheralbloodvesseldisorders,peripheralneuropathydisordersoracombinationofboth.
Objective:Thisfinalscientificpaperfornurses(KIAN)aimstoanalyzenursingcareforMrs.S was diagnosed withDiabetes Mellitus Ulcus PedisDextraSinistra.
Method:Theresearchmethodusedisadescriptive-qualitativeresearchapproachwithaqualitativecasestudyresearch strategy.
Results:Afterprovidingnursingcarefor3consecutivedays,Theauthorraised3prioritynursing diagnoses, namely acute pain, instability blood glucose, and impaired skinintegrity. The patient has been hospitalized for 5 days with unstable glucose levels. Onthe 5th day the patient is allowed to go home and must always be routinely monitoredwithindependent insulin treatment.
Conclusion: Of the three nursing problems, acute pain and blood glucose instability arepriority diagnoses.Theinterventionsthathavebeenappliedtopatientsaregivingdiabetesmellitusdietsandbensomrelaxationtopatients,anddeepbreathingandmurottal relaxation techniques to reduce pain. The implementation carried out is inaccordancewith thenursingintervention plan.
