Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that cause fights between silat colleges in Tulungagung Regency in review from criminology, as well as to determine law enforcement actions in an effort to overcome fights between silat colleges at the Tulungagung Police Station. The method in this study is criminological juridical research using a qualitative approach. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used was through interviews with 3 (three) silat college warriors in Tulungagung and the Tulungagung Resort Police. The results of this study explain that there are several factors that cause fights between silat colleges in Tulungagung, namely: 1) factors that cause fights between silat colleges in Tulungagung are caused by grudge factors, prestige factors between silat colleges, drunken factors, friendship environment factors and miscommunication factors (miss communication). These factors can be related through criminological theory, namely the theory of differential association. 2) Efforts made by the Police to overcome fights between martial arts colleges. The police force can make pre-emptive, preventive and repressive efforts.
