PENYELESAIAN PERKARA TINDAK PIDANA PERDAGANGAN ORANG (TPPO) PADA NOMOR REGISTRASI PERKARA 179/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Bil.

With the making of this Final Project, it can provide an overview of legal events to the general public or ordinary people with legal knowledge, especially in the crime of Trafficking in Persons (pimping), we can know together that trafficking in persons is still often encountered in big cities to foreign or international areas, usually on a small scale in localization areas or in regional tourist attractions. The discussion that the author examines is the process of resolving the Crime of Trafficking in Persons at the first level, namely in the jurisdiction of Pasuruan Regency, precisely in the Bangil District Court in the decision number 179/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Bil, and also the author describes the author's role in the process of resolving the case both in the trial and outside the trial along with the Panel of Judges in assigning 1 (one) article to the decision. The author in completing this research uses an empirical juridical method by collecting data by observation or interview during the trial, documentation, and literature study which later the data is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research conducted by the author are a series of how to deal with a Crime of Trafficking in Persons in the court at the first level, as well as the delegation of articles imposed on the defendant with the consideration of the Panel of Judges, according to the author in delegating the article is not appropriate when compared to the articles previously charged by the Public Prosecutor. For this reason, the author suggests that in deciding cases pay more attention to the articles that will later be stated in the decision, then for all members of the community it is hoped that they can assist law enforcers in tackling the problem of Human Trafficking Crime.
