Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of interest and understanding among third-grade students at MIN 9 Hulu Sungai Selatan regarding units of length, due to monotonous teaching methods and a lack of digital media utilization. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of developing an innovative Digital Big Book learning medium for third-grade students.
The method used Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
The results of the study indicate that the developed Digital Big Book product is highly feasible and engaging, as evidenced by a content validation score of 82% and a media validation score of 82%. The implementation of this media was also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, with an average evaluation score of 90.76, as well as receiving very high positive responses from students (91%) and teachers (100%). It can be concluded that the Digital Big Book media is highly effective and suitable for use as a mathematics learning aid to enhance student engagement and conceptual understanding of units of length.
