Abstract
This study aims to describe transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and intention to stay among employees of PT. BPR Bank Jombang Perseroda, as well as to determine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership on intention to stay, the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment, the effect of organizational commitment on intention to stay, and the effect of transformational leadership on intention to stay through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The population in this study was all 155 employees of PT. BPR Bank Jombang Perseroda, using a total sampling technique. The analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on intention to stay, transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on intention to stay, and transformational leadership on intention to stay through organizational commitment as a mediating variable showed significant results. Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational commitment is able to mediate the effect of transformational leadership on intention to stay at PT. BPR Bank Jombang Perseroda.
