PEMBERIAN KOMPRES HANGAT DAN RELAKSASI NAFAS DALAM UNTUK MENURUNKAN NYERI HIPERTENSI PADA LANSIA DI DUSUN GENITRI DESA KEDUNGREJO KECAMATAN PAKIS KABUPATEN MALANG

Background: Hypertension is the number 3 (three) cause of death after stroke and tuberculosis, namely 23.7% of the total 1.7 million deaths in Indonesia in 2016. One non-pharmacological measure to reduce neck pain or headaches is breathing relaxation techniques. deep and warm compress. The aim of this scientific work is to analyze public health nursing care for patients with hypertension in Genitri Hamlet, Kedungrejo Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency.
Methods: The research method used uses case study reports. Data collection was carried out using scientific methods in accordance with the principles of the Nursing Process which include: Assessment, Data Analysis, Nursing Intervention, Implementation, Documentation and Physical Examination carried out by directly observing and interviewing clients and families. After making 5 home visits to Mrs.S. Result: After providing nursing intervention for 4 days. Results of case analysis in patient patients with hypertension in two diagnoses, namely Acute Pain and Knowledge Deficit By providing deep breathing relaxation nursing care and warm compresses on the neck area, it can reduce blood pressure and reduce headaches and tension in the nape of the neck.
Conclusion: Providing deep breathing relaxation therapy with warm water compresses on the painful area has been proven to be effective in reducing the level of hypertension pain
