Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work flexibility on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, at PT. Smart ID Malang City. Work flexibility is one of the company's strategies to increase employee productivity and work effectiveness by providing flexibility in setting work duration, start time, and work location. This study used a quantitative approach. A research population of 115 PT. Smart ID Malang City employees was used as the research sample using a saturated sampling technique. The data sources used were primary and secondary data. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to employees using gForm. Data analysis used the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results of this study indicate that work flexibility has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work flexibility does not affect job satisfaction, job satisfaction does not affect employee performance, and work flexibility does not affect employee performance through job satisfaction.
