Abstract

Background : Physical activity requires physical effort and can increase heart rate and breathing. Physical activity plays a role in maintaining physical fitness, strengthening the heart and lungs, reducing the risk of chronic disease, and helping improve mood,
reduce stress, and enhance quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and quality of life in Physiotherapy students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, class of 2022.
Research Methods : This study employed a correlational design with a total sampling technique. The instruments used were the Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire (GLTEQ) and the WHOQOL-BREF, with data analysis conducted univariately and bivariately using Pearson or Spearman correlation tests.

Conclusion : It was concluded that there was no relationship between physical activity and quality of life in physiotherapy students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Class of 2022.
