PELANGGARAN ETIKA PADA TAYANGAN PAGI-PAGI AMBYAR DI TRANS TV (Analisis Isi Konten Pada Episode Lucinta Luna)

This study aims to identify and examine the forms of broadcasting ethical violations found in the Trans TV program Pagi-Pagi Ambyar, specifically in the episode aired on July 18, 2023. The research focuses on thematic units that are considered to violate Indonesian broadcasting regulations. A descriptive qualitative content analysis method was employed. The data were analyzed based on the Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Program Standards (P3SPS) and interpreted using the Social Responsibility Theory and Immanuel Kant’s Deontological Ethics.

The findings indicate systematic ethical violations in broadcasting practices aimed at increasing ratings. The broadcast of adult-oriented content at 08:30 WIB, a time when children are still likely to access television, resulted in violations of norms of decency and morality (Article 9 of P3SPS). In addition, the presence of adult content also violated regulations concerning child protection and program classification (Articles 14 and 21 of P3SPS). This study highlights the importance of strengthening the gatekeeper function in controlling sensational content broadcast during viewing hours accessible to children and adolescents.
